The Sink and a Car Jack

Leave it to J to use a car jack to put in a sink. It was dang heavy, so I'm glad he did it to try and preserve his back. Here are J and JJ bending down to position it just right and here's the glorious sink. I think she looks great. They popped in the faucet for effect. It's not hooked up yet, but I think she looks dandy!

Faucets

I am very pleased because I found all of our faucets and trim at more than 30% off today at Faucet Direct. They seemed to have a really wide range of stuff for sale and all heavily discounted. Who knew that I would ever get such excitement out of such things?

Faucets & Trim for the Studio

Kohler Purist Rite-Temp Pressure Balancing Shower
Kohler Purist Widespread Lavatory Faucet
Delta Grail Kitchen Pull-Down Faucet

We've finally decided on the faucets for the bathroom and kitchen for the studio. I really want to go more modern down there and I think these are really elegant. After drooling over the $2,000 options on Waterworks for far too long, we've settled on these more affordable Kohler and Delta options. Does anyone do polished chrome or is it a no-brainer to do do brushed chrome these days? I'm out of the loop on this one.
